Douglas Lawrence Anderson Jr., age 40 of Riverside, Ohio, was born on February 11, 1976 and went home to the Lord on July 7, 2016 after a lengthily battle with Diabetes. He was preceded in death by his mother Carolyn F. Anderson, grandparents Lawrence (Pete) and Doris Anderson; grandfather John P Ross Sr.; aunt Laree Anderson and mother-in-law Natalie Durning. Doug is survived by his loving and caring wife, Danielle; children Douglas Anderson III and Alexandra Anderson; father Douglas L. Anderson Sr.; grandmother Vesta Faye Ross Bucher; grandmother Rachel Beasley; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Aaron and Shelby Southworth; niece Emerie Ann Southworth; aunt and uncles John and Darlene Ross and Terry Ross-Sonya Crum. Leaving behind a host of cousins, family and friends. Doug was retired from Rite Aid as a Lost Prevention Officer and was involved with the City Of Riverside on the Parks and Recreation Board. He graduated from Stebbins in 1994 and attended Wright State University, playing and teaching was his passion. Doug was a percussion instructor for The Mighty Stebbins Indians and had the unconditional love for music. He played with the Greene County Adult Concert Band and his Worship Team at church. Doug started an awareness of Charcot Foot with his Facebook site. Charcot Foot Awareness has over 500 members from around the world and he volunteered at the Diabetes Health Fairs. He had a love for cars and organized car shows for the City of Riverside as well as the Children's Miracle Network, held at Airway Shopping Center. Doug loved his wrestling. He was a ring announcer, Big Maui D, for independent pro wrestling. Doug will always be remembered having a big heart, never knowing a stranger and his love for God, family and friends. A visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 3pm-7pm with another visitation to follow on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 9am-11am with a funeral service to follow at 11am.
