Dorothy Taliaferro

Dorothy A. Taliaferro, age 91 of Huber Heights, went home to be with her Savior and Lord, Jesus on February 5, 2014. Born November 1, 1922 in Richmond, IN. Preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Alice Epping; husband, William Taliaferro; daughter, Diane Taliaferro; son-in-law, Preston Hargis; 2 brothers: Donald and Robert Epping; and sister, Margaret Applegate.

Survived by her children: Susan (Kris) Roush, Theresa Hargis, Thomas (Christine) Taliaferro, Pamela (Garlan) Engle, Jane (Mike) Brown and Joseph (Clara) Taliaferro; 18 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; her precious Daisy (Dog); and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Huber Heights Grace Community Church, 5001 Fishburg Road, where the family will receive friends from 4-6 pm. Friends and family will meet at the church on Monday at 11:00 am, with the procession leaving at 11:30 am for burial at Calvary Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the family to help with final expenses. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road.
