SLAMER-SHELL, DOROTHY N.

78 of Centerville, departed this life Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at Bethany Lutheran Village. Dorothy was born April 23, 1926, the daughter of John T. and Effie Noffsinger. She was an active member of Christ the King Lutheran Church. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 18 years, Harry Shell; sons, Richard (Sue) Slamer and Robert (Martha) Slamer; sister, Pauline Shaver; grandchildren, Natalie, Tony, David, and Sarah; and great grandchildren, Camden and Mikayla. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Jack Slamer; sister, Mary Guinn; and brothers, J.T. Noffsinger and Bob Noffsinger. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 7, 2004 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 50 Nutt Road, Centerville. Family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, Kettering. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given in Dorothy's memory to Hospice of Dayton.
