Dorothy "Dot" Shake, 90, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017 in Miamisburg, Ohio.
Dorothy was born on May 29, 1926 in New Richmond, IN to the late James and Zella Harris. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her Brothers, Lee Edward Harris and Paul Harris, as well as husband of 53 years, Max E. Shake.
She is survived by Children, Patricia Tieding, Gregory Shake, Karen Walters, Lisa Holman, Jeffrey Shake, and Tammy Grimes; Grandchildren, Duane, Kimberly, Jay, Jesse, Lindsey, Jacob, Joshua, Jamie, Cody, and Samantha; numerous Great-Grandchildren; Nephew, Bill Harris; sister-in-law, Ann Harris, as well as many other family and friends.
Dorothy loved playing cards with Max, Lee, and Ann, as well as Bingo. She will be remembered for her feistiness and sense of humor. Dorothy had a deep devotion and love for her family.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a funeral service following at 11:00am at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439. She will be laid to rest at Germantown Cemetery.
