Dorothy R. Riber

Riber, Dorothy R., age 81 of New Carlisle, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2008. She was born February 4, 1927 in Dayton, the daughter of Ralph R. & Loretta M. (Knoepfle) Riber. She retired from Kroger after 55 years. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Donald & Eldon Riber; and her sister, Kathryn Carawan. Survivors include her niece, Cheryl Penny; great-nephew, Christian (Michelle) Carawan; great-niece, Adrienne (Shawn) Russell; great-great nephews, Zachary Carawan & Owen Russell; great-great niece, Paige Russell; and numerous friends and family members. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 6161 Chambersburg Rd., Huber Heights, OH. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4141 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH on Tuesday from 6-8 PM.
