Age 79, of Tipp City, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2008. She is survived by three children, Jeanie Madewell, Tracy & Jill Madewell and Teri & Jack Dozier; two granddaughters, Erica & Sarah; one great granddaughter, Jodie Lynn (Jolee); and by one sister, Barb Daggett. Dorothy was a member of the Silver Sneaker Club with the YMCA in Huber Heights. The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m., Saturday (9/13) at 6870 S. Tipp-Cowlesville Road, Tipp City (Phone: 937-667-6274). A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. with a dinner to follow. Pastor Paul Purdue will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Dorothy to the American Cancer Society. Newcomer, North chapel is in charge of arrangements.
