YOUNG, Dorothy Louise
age 75 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at Heartland of Centerville Nursing Center. Dorothy was born July 9, 1931, in Inkster, MI the daughter of William and Lenora Heska. She moved to Dayton in 1979 and purchased two International House of Pancake Restaurants. Dorothy retired in 1991 after over 25 years in the restaurant business. She is survived by her children, Robert and fiancé, Nancy of Mt. Clemens, MI, Charles of Centerville, OH, and Russell and friend, Tracy of Centerville, OH; sister, Ester Duffy of Las Vegas, NV; brother, Jerome Heska of Gaylord, MI; grandchildren, Dawn, Sean, April, Charles Jr., Russell Jr., Reneé, Jason, Morgan, Kelsey, and Jessica; and great grandchildren, Emily, Madison, Mason, and Haleigh. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Catherine Wiley; and great granddaughter, Brionna Sturgis. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. January 6, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
