Dorothy Irene (Moore) Kalt, age 73, passed away on May 1, 2012. She was born August 1, 1938 in South Charleston, WV. She graduated from South Charleston High School in 1956. Dorothy was a member of Knollwood Church of Christ in Beavercreek, OH.
She was preceded in death by her father, Fred R. Moore; mother, Ruth Reed; step-father, Virgil Reed; and brothers, George E. and Robert S. Moore. Dorothy is survived by her sons, Charles Leslie Kalt of Ravenswood, WV, Timothy (Lisa) Kalt and Christopher Kalt both of Beavercreek, OH; daughters, Lee Ann (George) Long of Beavercreek, OH, Tammy (Don) Baker of Fairborn, OH, Marta (David) Gibb of Spring Grove, IL; grandchildren, Cassie, Jessica (Dan), Brandon, Jennifer (Mike), Lindsay, Ashley, Matthew, Dakota, Abigail and Lennon; great grandchildren, Peyton and Raelynn.
A funeral service will be held on Friday May 4, 2012 at 6:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, where the family will receive friends for an hour and a half prior from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
Mark Willis to officiate services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospice of Dayton.
