Dorothy Jones

Dorothy M Jones, age 90 of Dayton, passed away peacefully May, 28 2013 at her home. She was born in Warren County, Ohio to the late Townie and Lottie Spurling.

On July 17, 1937 she married George Everett Jones. Together they raised 5 children. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, and being outdoors. She was an accomplished seamstress and an avid crafter who was generous to family and friends with many handmade gifts over the years. She and George moved to Indian Lake after they retired so they could fish, relax, and enjoy the outdoors. Their home was always open to family and friends, Dorothy especially loved visits from her grandchildren. In recent years, Dorothy shared a loving home with her daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Jerry Farmer. We will all love and miss her very much

As she passed from this world, Dorothy was reunited with her loving husband George and cherished children Ronald Eugene and Sharon Kay, her grandson, and great-granddaughter, as well as her parents and a host of brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children, Phyllis (Jerry) Farmer, David Jones, and Vicki (James) Alexander, 19 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
