JAMES, Dorothy J., 92, passed peacefully away on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Miami Valley Hospital. Dorothy was born on October 27, 1924 in Wyandotte, Michigan to the late David and Emma Jones.
Dorothy is also preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Richard James; brothers, David Franklin, Robert, and Kenneth Jones; sister, Katherine Yarckow; nieces, Victoria Moore and Jane Clayton; nephew, Christopher Moore, and brother-in-law, Eugene Moore.
She is survived by her children, Linda Pegram, Richard James, Deborah Kay (Delbert) Weaver, Donald James, and Kenneth (Sandy) James; sister, Delores Moore; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; 2 nieces; 3 nephews; special friend, Martha, as well as other family and friends.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 1:00 pm also at Newcomer Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Washington Township Cemetery.
