Dorothy I. Koebernick

Koebernick, Dorothy I., age 89, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2011. She was born July 21, 1921 in Arcola, Illinois. Dorothy is survived by her sons: Thomas (Cynthia) Koebernick and Larry (Marina) Koebernick; grandsons: Alan Koebernick, Chris (Nikki) Sabato, Dan Sabato; granddaughter: Mariya Nikiforva; sister: Mary Kocian, and sisters-in-law: Marlene Stanik and Youthel Burt; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Walter; brother: Roy Burt; and sisters: Ann Peek, Mildred Peek and Pauline Booth. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Walnut Creek and to Patty, Rebecca and others from Hospice of Dayton for their compassionate care. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
