Dorothy Louise Harris

Dorothy Louise Harris, age 88 of Dayton, OH , passed away Saturday, November 30, 2019 in DeLand, FL . She was born January 6, 1931 in Wilmington, Ohio the daughter of Charles and Illinois Patrick.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Charles, Michael and Terry Russell, husband, Lloyd Harris; brother, Leslie Patrick, sisters, Marilyn Woodgear and Beaulah Lykins; grandsons Jason Moore and Byron Russell.
Dorothy was a member of Kettering First Assembly of God before her health began to fail. She enjoyed being around her family. She retired from General Motors as a production worker in 1989.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Bonita (Jerry) Tainter and Wilhelmina Lane; son, Dennis (Connie) Russell; sister, Sina (Walter) Mills; 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held on December 9, 2019 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Visitation will be December 9, 2019 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am also at the funeral home.
