Dorothy Hammer

Dorothy I. Hammer, age 74 of Tipp City, passed away August 17, 2017. She was born December 10, 1942 in Dayton to the late Walter and Irene Kley. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her sister, Edna.

Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of nearly 57 years, Steve Hammer; daughter, Deborah Mikel; brothers and sisters: Walter (Janet) Kley, Phyllis Taylor, John (Cindy) Kley and Brenda Shemo; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 am on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 10:30 am. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dorothy's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
