Dorothy A. "Dottie" Dornbusch, age 70, of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away on August 15, 2022. Dottie was born on March 25, 1952, in Dayton, Ohio, to M. Jean (Truxall) and Robert T. Owen.
In addition to her parents, Dottie was predeceased by her husband, Norman Dornbusch. She is survived by her sisters, Frances Owen and Nancy (Edward) Loll; and brother, Robert Owen; niece and nephews, Lauren Owen, Gary Loll, and Jeff (Lexi) Loll, and numerous cousins.
Dottie graduated from Fairview High School in 1971. In 2018 she retired from Material Systems Group Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Dottie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, going to Christmas Bazaars, visiting Disneyland, watching Hallmark movies, and weaving baskets. Dottie was very fond of her two dogs Brooke and Penny who also predeceased her.
There will be no funeral service. Burial service will be Friday, September 23, 2022, at 11:00am at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, New Carlisle, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Diabetes Research & Wellness Foundation or ASPCA.
