Dorothy DeBorde, age 83 of Xenia, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 surrounded by her family at Liberty Nursing Center of Xenia. She was born December 12, 1930 in Morehead, Kentucky the daughter of Noah and Della Kegley.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Joseph DeBorde; and four sisters, Verna Adkins, Ula Hall, Hester Hall, and Edith Tipton.
Dorothy is survived by her children Ronnie (Debbie) DeBorde, Debbie (Steve) Baker, William (Dixie) DeBorde, Gary (Lori) DeBorde, Tim (Becky) DeBorde; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Rose Reedy; and a three brothers, Carl, Bobby, and Donnie Kegley. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 10:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432) with Pastor Josh Bevan officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens. Please visit www.newcomerdayton.com to share a memory in the family guest book. In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
