Dorothy J. Allemang, age 80 of Jamestown, OH went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 14, 2019. She was born August 2, 1939 in Dayton, Ohio to William and Daisy (Dessecker) Evans. Dorothy married Melville Allemang on April 18, 1959 in Dayton, OH.
Dottie was the rock of the family and her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were everything to her. She was an animal lover who cared for all the strays in the neighborhood. Dottie loved to bake and cook for the family and was very well known for her famous pumpkin rolls and noodles. She was a selfless person who always put the needs of others before hers and would give you the shirt off of her back. Dottie loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Dorothy is survived by her husband of 60 years, Melville; a daughter, Michelle (Michael) Harrison; two sons, Melville Allemang, Jr. and Michael Allemang; 11 grandchildren, Misty (Derek) Hartley, Morgan (Ben) Cooper, Michaela, Dalton and Dillon Harrison, Elizabeth, Travis, Brandon, Melville III, Dylan and Katie Allemang; numerous great grandchildren; and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her son, James Allemang.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at Good Hope Cemetery, Washington Court House, OH.
