HERBERT, Dorothy Ann, age 70, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2010. She is preceded in death by her parents, Steven Sr. & Hilda Partenach and husband, Billy E. Herbert.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Mary A. Emrich and fiancé, Rick Purdham of West Worthington, OH, John Garcia and girlfriend, Christi Lisska of Columbus, OH, and Scott E. (Cheryl) Herbert of West Jefferson, OH; siblings, Betty (Jack) Ditmer of West Milton, OH, Steve J. Partenach of OH, Mary A. Swift of Miamisburg, OH, and Jim (Kathy) Partenach of Middletown, OH; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Sue and Joyce Herbert; special friend Emlyn Johns, as well as many other dear friends. Dorothy was a hard worker, enjoyed gardening, going to the casinos, and loved the color pink. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends, whom she loved.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. Interment will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 9:30 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
