Dorothea Jean Ritter

Dorothea Jean Ritter, age 71 of Vandalia, passed away June 3, 2019. She was born November 18, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Rev. Ralph and Naomi Manns. In addition to her parents, Dorothea was preceded in death by her brother, Ted Manns.

Dorothea is survived by her husband of 53 years, John Ritter; children: Tim Ritter, Lisa Ritter and Anthony Ritter; grandchildren: Lauren and Nicole Ritter; sister, Darlene Mills; brothers: Rick Manns (Kim) and Paul Manns (Ima); several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Dorothea was a very kind and caring woman who took care of everyone, especially her family.

Visitation will be held from 9-10 am on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 10 am. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Dorothea's memory to the American Cancer Society.
