DAVIDSON, Dorland, age 77, of Dayton, died Friday December 16, 2005. He was born July 21, 1928 in Morgan, County, KY, the son of Samuel and Luna (Mosley) Davidson. Dorland was a proud veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict and retired from Sherwin Williams. He is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Jacqueline Sherman of Dayton, Deborah and Jerry Price of Jamestown; 1 grandson, Chad and his wife Angie Price of Cedarville; 1 great-granddaughter, Morgan Lillian Price (his little "Princess"); 3 sisters, Roberta Stone, Ruby Creech, and Ovie Brewer; 2 brothers, LaVaughn Davidson and RD Davidson; 1 nephew, Cordell Williams; special friends, Ralph and Paula Phillips, Daniel Dodd; numerous other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both parents; 2 sisters, Alvis Davidson and Juanita Brewer; 2 brothers, Kenneth and Wilton Davidson. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd.) where visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the time of service. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery.
