DORIS MARIE WHEELER (nee: JONES) of Kettering, Ohio passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2012 after a long fight with Heart and Lung problems.
Doris was born Sept 23, 1928 in Sidney, OH. Previously an LPN, Doris spent most of her time as a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She loved dogs, "her babies", and was a member of the Ohio Valley Pomeranian Club.
Preceded in death by her parents, and Clifford (Jim) Wheeler, her loving husband of 65 years, she is survived by one brother, Richard Jones; sons, James R. (Diane) and Ronald L. (Cynthia); 5 grandchildren, Michelle Taylor (Terry), Kimberly Gregorace (Tony), Coledo Maines (Elliott), Andrew Wheeler (Amy), and Lauren Wheeler (fiance Doug Wilhelm); 7 great and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 27, 2012 from 10am-11am with funeral services starting at 11am at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420, or the American Heart Association.
