Doris Louise Warren
March 13, 1924 — October 1, 2021
Doris Louise Warren, age 97, of Riverside, departed from her home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. The angles are rejoicing to receive her!
Doris is survived by her loving daughters, Debora Rogerson, Bonnie (Larry) Britton, Diana (David) Scharff, and Wendy Warren; granddaughters, Andrea (Luke) Oppliger and Angela (Richard) King and great grandchildren, Addison, Mya and Kinley Oppliger and Layla and Richard King IV.
Doris came to Dayton from northeast Ohio for employment at Wright Patterson AFB during WWII. She worked as a secretary at WPAFB for many years. She had also been a longtime and active member of Community United Methodist Church.
Doris was devoted to her family and they to her; she will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Private graveside service will be officiated by Rev Fritz Merkes of Community United Methodist Church.
Arrangements in the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel.
