Age 83, passed away November 1, 2014.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry H. and Louise W. Nolte; husband, Paul Vandever; son, Robert M. Kelley; daughter, Sheila Johnson; son-in-laws, Paul D. Bills and David Johnson; and daughter-in-law, Sharon Kelley.
She is survived by her beloved children, Cherie Tudor, Susan Bills, Mary Boggs, Patricia (Joe) Rosenkranz, and Danny (Donna) Wendling; grandchildren, Thomas (Cindy) Frantz, Kimberly (Nathan) Scafidi, Amanda (Scott) Winegarner, Benjamin (Melody) Kelley, Dylan (Lisa) Roundtree, Gary (Jasmine) Boggs, Anne Marie Boggs, Paul Boggs, Brandy Rudy, Heather Wendling, Christina Wade, Terry (Mike) Miller, Patty Grice, Sam Grice, Pearl Tanner and Michelle Slone; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Doris is a member of the New Hope Methodist Church and the Northridge Class of 1949. She had previously belonged to the Harrison Township Senior Fun Band, the Sweet Adelines and the Ladies Auxiliary.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 7, 2014 at 4:00 pm at the New Hope Methodist Church, 536 Xenia Ave. Dayton OH.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Diabetes Association.
