Doris L. Shupert

Doris Shupert, age 87, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024, with family by her side. 

She retired from Highland District Hospital after 22 years.

Doris was a member of Freedom Fellowship Church, where she also played the piano. She went to Samantha Freewill Baptist Church for 30 years, before being a member of Freedom Fellowship Church in Hillsboro, Ohio.

She enjoyed going to Heartland Nursing Home singing to the residents. 

Doris is survived by her children, Glenda Igo, Vicky (Jerry) Little, Freida (Eugene) Newbry, Dale Mountjoy, Terry (Nancy) Mountjoy, Virgil Mountjoy (deceased), Jon (Beverly) Mountjoy; Tom (Penny) Mountjoy and Sherry (Rick) Rowe. She has many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She loved everyone and was well loved. She also loved planning get-togethers and eating out at restaurants. 

Visitation will be held from 10:00am-11:00am, on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where Funeral Services will begin at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens, Xenia.

Donations may be made to the funeral home on behalf of her family.
