Doris E. Purcell, age 68 of Moraine, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born July 5, 1953 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late William and Opal Ginter.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Corbin.
Doris is survived by her husband of 49 years, James "Jim" Purcell; sister, Evon Ingram; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439). Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 11:00 am, also at the funeral home, with Pastor Doug Criswell officiating. Burial will follow in Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
