Doris R. Neace (nee, Monnin) age 74 of Huber Heights, passed away June 26, 2014. She was born April 14, 1940 in Dayton to the late Omer and Clara Monnin. In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, William Neace; brothers: Roger, Gerald and Ronald Monnin; and special nephew, Michael Whipp.
Doris is survived by her children: Terri (John) Hoffman, Sue (Brian) Seibert, Linda (Chris) Trick, Tom (Dianna) Clutter and Stephanie Calvert; 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters: Joan Honaker, Mary Borden, Lois Franke and Dianna (Chuck) Hatton; brother, Howard Monnin; mother-in-law, Rosemary Neace; sister-in-law, Phyllis Monnin; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Doris was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family unconditionally. She was caring and beautiful inside and out and blessed her family with the gift of their faith.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday at St. Peter Catholic Church, 6161 Chambersburg Road, Huber Heights. Rev. James C. Seibert, CPPS, celebrant. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of The Hospice of Dayton for the loving care of their mother. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Doris' memory to The Hospice of Dayton.
