Doris Moore

Doris S. Moore, age 83 of West Carrollton, passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born May 18, 1931 in Booneville, Kentucky the daughter of Roscoe and Ouida Stewart. Doris loved sewing and working on her quilts and was well know for her volunteer work. She worked for Grace Lutheran's Bazaar as well as the West Carrollton Food Pantry for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Kevin Moore, and a brother, Emil Stewart.

Doris is survived by her husband of 63 years, John; a son, Darin Moore; and a sister, Eola Barrett. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church (410 East Pease Ave., West Carrollton, Ohio). Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439).

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
