Doris F. Lankford

Doris F. Lankford, 82, of Fairborn, went to join her husband on June 28, 2017. Doris was born in Jasper, Alabama on April 7, 1935 to the late AW and Lilus Burleson. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Sandy Lankford; son, Buddy Lankford; granddaughter, Jenny Manley; sisters, Alma Butler, May Jean Burleson; and brothers, Billy Burleson and Sammy Burleson.

She is survived by her sons, Ed (Cheryle) Lankford, Jamey (Heather) Lankford; daughters, Linda (Gary) Agnor, Nancy (Rodger) Keeton; grandchildren, Nick (Kelly) Keeton, Heather (Justin) Kilcrease, Tyler Kelley, Adam Lankford, Megan Lankford, Brenna Lankford, Lauren Lankford, Jason Lankford, Billy Lankford; great grandchildren, Devin Manley, Zack Manley, Megan Keeton, Zoe Marley, Zak Kilcrease; great great grandchildren, Miles and Beckett Manley; sisters, Peggy (Marty) Meeks, Mary Helon (Red) Edwards, Ann (Benville) Woodall; and several nieces, nephews and special friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 10:00 am-11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, where funeral services will begin at 11:00 am.
