Doris L. Hasting

HASTING, Doris L., age 82, of Dayton, born Sept. 10, 1929 to the late Willie and Lora Miller. Married Emery Hasting Dec. 14, 1945. Together they had 6 children. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Emery; children, Fred, Diane, Hank, Lori Jo; 5 brothers, and special friend, Ron Avery. Survived by daughters, Melissa Stout and Mary Slusher; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; special nieces and nephews, and loving friends, Mable and Ralph, as well as her church family.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, March 2, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, with Pastor Jerry Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton. Family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the funeral home.
