Doris Jean Puckett

Doris Jean Puckett, age 84 of Union, passed away Friday, January 9, 2015 at Heartland of Centerville. She was born March 24, 1930 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Roy and Della Guinn.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank Puckett, a son, Frankie Puckett, a brother, Roy Guinn, a sister, Gwendolyn Kender, and a grandchild, Luke Pettay.

Doris is survived by five of her children, Patrick Kovacs, Michael Kovacs, Mark Kovacs, Ernie Kovacs, and Francine Pettay; two step-children, Mary Puckett and Tom Puckett; two sisters, Maxine Baldasare and Linda Carter; a brother, Larry Guinn; 14 Grandchildren; and 13 Great-Grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439). Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Wednesday before the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Heartland Hospice.
