STAMPER, Doris J.
age 71 of Huber Heights, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2006 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 28 years, Clifford L. Stamper Sr. and father, Ward B. Napier. She is survived by her mother, Oda J. Napier; daughters, Donna J. Martin and spouse Allison Edwards, Linda L. Littell and husband Charles C. Littell III, Wedonia, and Lula May; sons, Jimmy and wife Margie, Clifford Jr. and wife Mary; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, sister Dixie and husband Bill, brother Donald and wife Pat, and beloved dog Cody. She has a large number of beloved relatives and friends. Doris was born on July 19, 1935 in Hazard, KY. She retired from Angel Manufacturing and was proud of her role as president and organizer of her local UAW union. She was active in the Red Hat Society, loved to travel abroad with her girls and adored her large family. Family and friends were the most important aspect of her life and she loved keeping in touch with her cousins, aunts, uncles, grandchildren and friends. We will all miss her dearly. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
