Doris A. Hilliard, age 79 of Kettering, passed away February 21, 2012. She was born November 27, 1932 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Arthur and Goldie Jones. In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, James Hilliard.
Doris is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Sabra and Phil Myers; grandchildren: Wyatt and Morgen Myers; sister, Betty (Robert) Hall; and brother, Reverend Robert (Sara) Jones.
Per her request, there will be no viewing or funeral service. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 24, 2012 at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 170 North Valley Road, Xenia. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road. Contributions may be made in Doris' name to The Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45420.
