Doris Hicks

Hicks, Doris Ethel, age 83, formerly of Camden & of Dayton, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2007 at The Residence at Huntington Court in Hamilton, OH. She was born September 12, 1923 in Pennington Gap, VA, the daughter of William Emmett & Rachel Bell (Zion) White. She was a member of the Rebekah Rachel Lodge 144 for 46 years. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Allen F. Hicks; son, Allen Jr., 4 brothers, and 2 sisters. Survivors include her son, William R. (Cheri) Hicks of Mason; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, and 1 sister. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio, with Pastor Jerry Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of services.
