Dorcas Ann Sneed

Dorcas Ann Sneed, age 80, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on October 3, 2024. Dorcas was born in Prosperity, West Virginia on May 9, 1944, to the late Harold and Ernestine Coleman.

Dorcas was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Ernestine Coleman, her sister Christine Collins, her brother Harold Coleman Jr and her daughter Tricia Irene Sneed.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Clifford Sneed; Daughter, Beth Fryman; granddaughter Rebecca Uli (Grandma’s Doll Baby), and her Sister, Jeanie Collins. She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews.

Dorcas retired from Kettering Medical Center where she worked in Medical Records for 40 years. She was a member of the Centerville SDA Church for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed being with her family, reading her Bible, and spending time with her beloved granddaughter Rebecca. She loved making hair-pin lace baby afghan’s for new mom’s in the church and many family members. She had a deep love for Jesus and could not wait to see his face. 

There will be a Memorial at a later date at the Centerville SDA Church.
