September 30, 1935 — July 16, 2014
Dora "Dean" Carmack, age 78, of Centerville, went home to be with the Lord & her husband, James P. Carmack on Wednesday, July 16, 2014.
She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Mason Miller, Nelson Miller, Margaret Springman, Elizabeth Young, Emma Browning, Dorothy Brewer and Nathan Miller.
Dean is survived by her daughter, Vivian Deaton; grandchildren, Paige & Garrett McCullough; great-grandson, Parker James McCullough; siblings, Jean Ray, Thelma Walling and Paul E. Miller; nephew and caregiver of 5 years, Jerry Molen; and many other relatives and friends.
Dean was a retired elementary school teacher from Beavercreek.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 11 am at Evergreen Cemetery, in West Carrollton.
Donations may be made in Dean's memory to Otterbein Senior Skilled Nursing & Rehab (9320 Avalon Cir, Clearcreek Township) or the National Parkinson's Foundation (200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800 Miami, Florida 33131).
