Donnie Russell Thomas, born on May 26, 1970, passed away on November 23, 2020 in his home. He was preceded in death by parents, Joyce E. Thomas and Roscoe Shipp.
He is survived by loving sisters, Chadonn Cummings and Tonya Shipp; children, Donnie Thomas Jr. and Ramaya Thomas; aunts, Elvia Thomas and Brenda (Josh) Weaver; cousins, Brandon Thornton, Brea Thornton, Brelyse Thornton, Michael Thompson; close family members, Candace Stevens, Brittany Shackelford (Dobbs), Lorene Demmons, Lindsey Houston, Leslie Houston Jr., Bryan Dobbs, Jason Brown, and James Smith (Douglasville, GA); and numerous other caring relatives.
The funeral service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home at 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439 on January 7th, 2021 at 4:00 pm with the Rev. Raleigh Thornton, Jr. officiating. The service will also be available via Zoom - https://us04web.zoom.us/j/78567271372.
