Donni P. Hensley, born on January 9, 1954, passed away on September 23, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of joy, creativity, and a zest for life that resonated with everyone who knew him. Donni attended Wayne High School. A dedicated machinist, mechanic, and manufacturer, Donni took pride in his work and often joked, "I could put a Ford and a Chevy together and you would love it." He worked for his dad at Main Auto Parts at an early age. His ten years at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base were marked by an unwavering commitment to his craft and an infectious enthusiasm that inspired his colleagues.

Beyond his professional life, Donni was known as the go-to person for anyone in need of fixing a bike or any other machinery. His hands-on skills were matched only by his magnetic personality; he never knew a stranger and welcomed all into his vibrant world. He had an undeniable passion for fast things, as evidenced by his love for racing boats, cars, and motorcycles. He truly lived life large and loud, embracing bright colors that mirrored his spirited outlook.

At the heart of his life were the cherished relationships he cultivated. He is survived by his partner in crime, Janine Chamber, brother, David Hensley, along with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever treasure their memories of him.

Donni was preceded in death by his parents, William Hensley and Patricia Black; aunt, Gaylene Chamness; and uncle, Tim Neary. Their spirits will now reunite, and Donni's vibrant essence will continue to inspire those left behind. As we remember Donni P. Hensley, we celebrate a life lived with passion, generosity, and an unwavering love for both his family and friends and the fast-paced adventures that defined his extraordinary journey.
