Donna Jean VanWinkle, age 67 of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021. She was born September 21, 1953 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Lebertis and Pearl Holbert.
Donna was a retired clerk of courts for Montgomery County after over 20 years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and working crossword puzzles.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Meredith Gary "Rip" VanWinkle; and brothers, Lebertis Holbert, Jr. and Alfred L. Holbert.
Donna is survived by her children, Chris Lyons, Ingrid Lyons and Sabrina Lyons; many grandchildren; three brothers, Mark Holbert, Michael "Todd" (Amy) Holbert, Sr. and Benny Holbert; sister, Bridget Harris.
Donna will be laid to rest with her husband at Dayton National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Donna's memory to a charity of choice.
