Donna Lee Townsend

TOWNSEND, Donna Lee, age 73 of Kettering, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2017. She was born in Springfield to the late Donald and Margaret Severns on March 14, 1944. Donna graduated from Fairmont High School in 1962.
She went on to work as an ophthalmology nurse for many years. Donna had a passion for gardening and was an avid reader. In her later years she enjoyed playing Bingo with her friends. Donna was a member of County Line Baptist Church in Beavercreek. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who love her.
Donna leaves to cherish her memory, children, Michelle Matthews and Ben (Susan) Townsend; siblings, John Severns and Judy (Larry) Douglas; grandchildren, Zachary Matthews, Adam Feurt, and Danielle Felton; 12 great-grandchildren; and many other loving relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 2:00pm.
