Donna Thieman

July 6, 1956 — February 22, 2012

Donna M. (Storey-Griffin)Thieman of Beavercreek, OH, entered into eternal life on Ash Wednesday, the 22nd of February, 2012 after receiving communion with her daughters and husband at her bedside.

Donna was preceded in death by her first husband, Francis E. Griffin, Jr. and son.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce Thieman, her mother Maria Storey (nee Costanza); father and step-mom, Donald and Catherine Storey; five daughters and two sons-in-law, Lisa and Allison Griffin, Stephanie Thieman and Patrick Kearney, Kimberly and Nathaniel Bolender, and Deanna Thieman; a brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Krystyna Storey; three mothers-in-law, Patricia Griffin, Delouris Leslie (nee Thieman), and Jean Stodola; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Kathleen and Erik Foster, Patricia Griffin and Kirk Heilbrun, Michael and Vicki Griffin, Marten and Pennie Thieman, and Dawn and Ken Kent; and in-laws Marvin Stodola, and Brian and Becky Hall. She is also survived by four nieces and nephews, Anna Margaret Heilbrun, Lawrence Griffin, Marissa Dent, and Fiona Storey; and two granddaughters, Journey Thomason and Rileigh Bolender.

Donna was a member of St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church in Beavercreek, OH. She graduated from Ewing High School and Cook College of Rutgers University in New Jersey. Donna worked for several publishing companies on the east coast and was active in Respect Life ministry in Ohio, volunteering and working mainly for Elizabeth's New Life Women's Center and One More Soul in the Dayton area and serving as the Respect Life Coordinator for the Dayton Deanery and St Luke Catholic Church.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday February 29, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church, 1440 N. Fairfield Rd. Mass (of Christian Burial) will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the church.

A reception will be held at the church immediately after Mass.

Interment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C. at a future date.
