Donna Jean Shiverdecker
March 9, 1957 — February 27, 2020
Donna Jean Shiverdecker, age 62 of Beavercreek, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Hospice of Dayton, where she resided for 4 days. She was born March 9, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Eugene and Evelyn Withers.
She is preceded in death by her father and sister, Cathy Allen.
Donna enjoyed her family and especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed her annual trip to the beach, shopping (which was her favorite hobby), chocolate, her coworkers at Hewitt Soap Company and Bosch Batteries. She loved the summertime and sitting outdoors feeding the chipmunks.
Donna is survived by her husband of 42 years Randy, who was her high school sweetheart; son, Joshua Ray (Erin) Shiverdecker; mother, Evelyn Withers; sister, Gina DeLong; grandchildren, Ella Kessel, Claire Shiverdecker, Ryan Shiverdecker; niece, Alicia Riley and nephew Jacob DeLong; brother-in-law, Mike Allen; father-in-law, Dale (Shirley Crawford) McIlvain. She is also survived by numerous family and friends including those in Irvine and Lexington, KY and Cookeville, TN
Special thank you to Sabina Madrid of Heartland Hospice who took excellent care of Donna without whom her husband would not have been able to provide home care for 5 months.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Donna's name to Heartland Hospice or Hospice of Dayton.
A Gathering will be held on March 2, 2020 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm with funeral service at 7:30 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432.
