Donna Gail Shingleton
January 3, 1968 — February 4, 2020
Donna Gail Shingleton, age 52 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born January 3, 1968 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Donald and Crystal Johnson.
Donna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved to spend time with her grandkids who called her "Grandma D". She had a good sense of humor and was open minded. She was funny, strong-willed and a fighter. Donna was a dreamer who had a lot she wanted to accomplish, yet enjoyed being at home. She was artistic and creative with crafts, crocheting and knitting. Donna will be dearly missed by all of her family and those who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Johnson.
Donna will be missed by her loving children, Daniel Shingleton, Tony Shingleton, Kathryn Shingleton, and Nathaniel Shingleton; grandchildren, Zain, Ethan, Blaze, Jade, Graclyn, Killian, Dexi Ann, Zander, Riley, Matthew, Eden and Bella; sister, Kathryn Johnson; and her faithful dog, Poochie "Gordita".
Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Monday, February 10, 2020 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton followed by a graveside service at 11:30 a.m at Poplar Hill Cemetery, 130 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Donna's memory to the American Heart Association.
