Donna Ann Mcfarland

Donna Ann (Farmer) McFarland, 61, passed away on June 16, 2023. She was born in Dayton, OH on July 7, 1961 to Thomas C. Farmer and Ollie Mae Farmer.

She graduated from Kettering Fairmont West High School, Class of 1979 and attended Wright State University. She went on to work in Business Management for WONE and WTUE radio stations and later Channels 2, 22 and 45 television stations.

In Elementary School, she learned to play the Cello in the orchestra. Music became a lifelong passion and over the years she played in orchestras and at weddings and other events throughout Southern Ohio with her group Elegant Entertainment.

She is preceded in death by her Father Thomas C. Farmer, Mother Ollie Mae Farmer, Sister Deborah Tolliver and Aunt Shirley Parrott.

She is survived by her loving and adoring husband of 30 years David G. McFarland, Son Matthew (Michelle) Stanley, Stepchildren Scott (Susan) McFarland and Heather (Steve) Sprauer, Grandchildren Dana McFarland, Ivan and Scarlett Takacs along with dear friends Lezlie Gillespie, Carolyn Taylor, Maretta Alden and countless others.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Lifeline of Ohio or National Kidney Foundation. A Gathering will be held from 4:00PM till 6:00PM on Thursday, June 22, at the Newcomer Centerville Chapel, 820 Miamisburg-Centerville RD. Dayton, OH 45459.
