Donna Jean Umbel

UMBEL, Donna Jean, born Dec. 8, 1942, went to sleep in death July 7, 2010. Donna shared her life with her devoted husband, Francis for over 51 years. Theirs was a great love story. Her great granddaughter, Abigail Edmonds and her sister, Julie Lilliock, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Francis; son, Francis "Pete" III and wife, Lisa; daughter, Lisa Watson and husband, David; brother, Andy Horvath and wife, Joy; granddaughters, Cheryl, Karen, Rachael, Alina, Amanda, and grandson, David, along with all their spouses. She also leaves behind great grandchildren, Jacob, Owen, Miles, Kyle, Kennedie, and Avery, as well as many nieces and nephews. Donna was a faithful servant of Jehovah for 45 years and was a part of the Dayton Northeast congregation of Jehovah's witnesses, spending 20 years in the full time ministry. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery. Viewing will be on Friday July 9, 2010 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
