Donna Jean Powell

POWELL, Donna, age 57, went home to be with the Lord Monday, March 23, 2009 at Kettering Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her mother, Verna Powell. Donna is survived by her father, Mitchell Powell; sister, Brenda Weller, and beloved brother-in-law, Jim Weller. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Miamisburg, former member of Far Hills Baptist Church. She worked for 25+ years at Kettering Medical Center. Donna enjoyed cooking, spending time with her friends, and her dog "Jezabel". She was dearly loved by her friends and family, and will be sadly missed. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at First Baptist Church of Miamisburg, 323 N. 11th St., Miamisburg. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service at the church. Pastor Stephen Spurgin officiating. Interment will be at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Kidney Foundation.
