Donna Green, 84, of Kettering, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2023 at Walnut Creek Nursing Center. She was born on June 20,1939 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Lawrence Gray and Marie Gray nee Murlin.
She was received in death by her husband, Karl Green, parents, Lawrence and Marie Gray, Sisters Rosetta Lacey, and Sharon Dunlevy, Brother in Law Pat Dunlevy, and Sister in Law Sue Gray.
Donna will be missed by Brother Lawrence Gray, and Brother in Law Tom Lacey, both of Dayton along with many nephews and nieces who regarded her as a second mother, and dozens of cousins and friends.
She spent her early life in bookkeeping with her mother Marie, and working in retail and then as a caregiver for family members. Donna enjoyed reading, playing board and card games with her sisters, and spent her Friday evenings bowling at Woodman Lanes. She loved being surrounded by family and hosted many birthday and holiday whole family get-togethers. She was also fond of Kenny Rogers. Donna is exceptionally loved and will be extremely missed. She will be fondly remembered by everyone she met.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023 at 6:30 PM. A visitation will begin one hour prior to service.
