Donna F. Parker

PARKER, Donna, age 70, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at her home. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harnold and Theresa Falconnier. Donna is survived by her husband of 47 years, Dixon Parker; daughters, Darlene (Mark) Wiseman and Dione (Ed) McConnaughey; sister, Elizabeth Falligant; grandchildren, Valerie and Colin Wiseman and Troy and Trent McConnaughey; nephew, Travis Falligant, and niece, Ann Marie Wallace. She taught school for 30 years, in Beavercreek, OH and Florida. Donna was a member of Kirkmont Presbyterian Church, Redbud Garden Club, Alpha Xi Delta Fraternity, Beavercreek Women's League, and Dayton Christian Scribes. She enjoyed gardening and writing poetry. Family will receive friends from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm on Friday, August 13, 2010 (TODAY) at Kirkmont Presbyterian Church, 3377 Shakertown Rd., Beavercreek. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Parkinson's Foundation or to the Alpha Xi Delta Foundation.
