Donna Elaine Theisen (Seitz-Owen)
Age 73, of Fairborn, Ohio, formerly of Indian Lake, Ohio and Fort Myers, Florida, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph & Aline Seitz, her husband, Joseph Theisen; and by one son, Michael T. Owen.
Donna is survived by her three children, Vicki (Owen) Perkins of Fairborn, Ohio, Kathi (Owen) Salyers of Dayton, Ohio and Lori (Owen) McGrath of Dayton, Ohio; the father of her children, Benjamin Owen; her sister, Patricia Winchester of Fort Myers, Florida; her brother, Ralph Seitz, Jr of Huber Heights, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Stacy Burns, Mandy Burns, both of Fairborn, Ohio, Michael Perkins, Carly Perkins, Carree Chapman, Sarah Hyder, Scott Hyder, Leah Salyers, Brittany Glass and Michelle McGrath, all of Dayton, Ohio; eleven great grandchildren, Dylan, Madison, Keegan, Rickey, Connor, Kyle, Cody, Ashton, Ryan, Ayla & Mykel; and by her faithful canine companion, Gizzie.
Donna was employed by Beavercreek Township and was the author of three books: "What to do until the Ambulance arrives, Angels of Emergency and Childlight." She was a volunteer paramedic in Indian Lake and a real estate agent in Fort Myers.
The family will be receiving friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., Saturday, August 28, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Donna will be remembered by her family as being a loving mother & grandmother and good friend and will be greatly missed by all who know her.
