Donavan Lee Sampson

Donavan Lee Sampson, age 43, of Dayton passed away on August 12, 2023. He was born in Dayton on April 2, 1980 to Phillip Stevens and Patricia Woods. Donavan is preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Sampson.

Donavan is survived by his wife, Jillian; children, Aurora Stevens, Attakin Stevens, Hayden Bateman; mother, Patricia Woods; father, Phillip Stevens; brothers, Harlan Stevens, Terry Woods, Bige Woods, Justin Woods; sisters, Nancy Rae Stevens, Rachel (Mike) Cline, Tonya Stevens; as well as a host of family and friends.

Donavan had a big heart and was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed camping, hiking and spending time with his dad. Donavan's favorite past time was playing video games. He was very family oriented and always wanted everyone to have a good time. Donavan will be truly missed and forever loved by his family and close friends.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 20, 2023. A private memorial service will be held by family at a later date.
