Donald W. West, age 67 of Huber Heights, passed away October 2, 2013. He was born May 29, 1946 in Pottsville, PA to Clarence and Virginia West.
In addition to his parents, Don is survived by longtime companion, Mary McLaren; sons: Don (Stephanie) West and Brian (Melissa) West; daughter, Julie Faustman; 5 grandchildren: Hunter, Evan, Dalton, Peyton and Kirsten; brothers: Henry and Jimmy; sisters: Judy and Mary Ellen; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Don was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Vietnam War; was a Butler Township Police Officer; a retired carpenter; member of VFW Post 8211; and loved to ride his Harley.
Don was an Eagle Scout and the family would like contributions to be made to a Boy Scout Troop of your choice in his honor.
