Donald Ray Jones, age 72, of Union, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023.
Donald was born in Dayton on July 11, 1951 to the late Lester & Louise Jones-he was one of 5 children.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Tom and Dennis Jones.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Pam Jones; children, Scott (Angela) Jones and Jennifer (Kevin) Hill; grandchildren, Maddison, Hannah, Savanna, Kennedy, Sofia, Jake and Avery; great-grandchildren, Nylah and Brooks; brother, Jimmy Jones; sister Faye Tomlinson; sister-in-laws, Jackie Price, Sherry Jones, Rachel Starnes and Misti Cook; brother-in-law Lee Kiser; and many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
Donald was a member of the Masons. He was a part of the Local 249 IUPAT for 30+ years. Donald was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hot rods as well-but most of all he loved his family and spending time with them.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 10am-12pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424.
